Wedding Venues
Your wedding can be arranged
at most hotels. Small outer islands do not generally host weddings owing
to the cost of transporting the Registrar to and from the island,
with accommodation where necessary.

Wedding Ceremony
Your wedding will be a civil ceremony performed by a Registrar at your chosen hotel with a 'reception' afterwards. There is no requirement to attend the courthouse to swear an affidavit.
Wedding Planning
Your wedding date will be confirmed once you've made the hotel reservation. You can get married any day of the week, excluding public holidays. Though most hotels can host more than one wedding per day - this is unusual.
Late afternoon is the best time to get married, temperatures are cooler and the light is better for photography. Consider the islands' tropical climate when choosing your wedding outfits. Tight fitting dresses or suits and man-made fibres will be especially uncomfortable. Whatever you decide to wear, ensure your outfits are professionally packed or packed in hard suitcases.
Please also be aware that these make up part of your baggage allowance and that some airlines may levy an excess baggage charge.
You should plan to arrive in the Seychelles at least 3 days
before your wedding date. The arrangements will be finalised at your hotel, your personal wedding co-ordinator will help choose a suitable location and organise any extra services you need: including make-up, hairdressing, flowers, catering and photographers. Many of these services can be pre-paid before you leave the UK, but some must be paid for locally. You wedding co-ordinator will also be there on the day to ensure that everything goes to plan. They will see that your flowers are delivered on time, and will also act as a witness at the ceremony, if required.
