Just one hour's flight by light aircraft from Mahe are the Amirantes Islands, the largest being the verdant and picturesque Island of Desroches. casuarinas fringed by 14 kms of white sandy beach.

Desroches Island, surrounded by coral, offers a haven for colourful fish and hawksbill turtles, allowing fantastic snorkelling, diving and fishing. Golf driving range, TV & video lounge, floodlit tennis court, boules, canoes, sailing and windsurfing are at guest's disposal with
snorkelling equipment available from the PADI diving centre.
Big game fish (especially marlin, dog-tooth tuna and sailfish) are in abundance and scuba diving is a little bit special (for beginners and experts) with around 14 classified sites to explore including the amazing 'Desroches Drop' and the labyrinthine like 'Canyon'.
