The perfect choice for castaways, if you want to be marooned in paradise, simply choose your Man Friday and... go.
A small coral dot in the Indian Ocean, Denis Island (formerly known as Taj Denis Island) is swathed in tropical vegetation and ringed by pristine beaches and a crystal clear lagoon. Denis Island is a 30 minutes flight from Mahé.
Originally a pirates' lair, Denis' secret treasure hoards are still to be discovered on its 375 acres. The
island's real riches, however, are its natural delights: giant tortoises, rare bird species and colourful marine life. Few places in the world offer richer rewards underwater and Denis Island is a mecca for both sports fishermen and scuba-divers.
Here, guests can savour a languid island ambience and enjoy a relaxed sense of well-being, bonding with nature.
Cottages
and Villas Denis Island has 23 Deluxe Cottages, one Family Villa and one Executive Villa.
Your delightful cottage awaits, with spacious interior, four-poster bed and glass-walled en-suite bathroom. Choose a beachside bungalow and stay close to the water's edge. A few steps from your front door and the powder sand slips between your toes, a few more and
your feet are bathed in bath-warm water - heavenly.
