Shandrani - the name means goddess of the moon in Hindi - is rated highly by the guests who come to relax at this luxurious and unspoilt haven on the historical south coast of Mauritius, amidst a spectacular ocean setting.
Shandrani is a delightful and fun filled resort overlooking the seductive waters of Blue Bay, surrounded by 80 acres of award-winning tropical gardens.

Most unusual for Mauritius, is the romantic 'wild beach' where ocean waves tumble gently onto the beach through a break in the protective coral reef surrounding the island.
Two other beaches overlook the calm turquoise lagoon.

The hotel is situated relatively close to the airport.
Whilst this is a small island and flights are relatively infrequent,
departing aircrafts can be seen and heard briefly when climbing over the bay.

108 Deluxe Rooms (56m²) offering more space and located away from the main resort facilities towards Le Sirius Restaurant. Freshly designed with an elegant décor, Deluxe Rooms have a large bedroom with lounge area, dressing room, terrace or balcony. Some rooms interconnect with each other, which is perfect for families with older children.

36 Family Apartments at Shandrani (75m²) Located on the first or second floor for families with younger children. 2 Family Suites (206m²) which occupy a beautiful location overlooking the ocean, for the ultimate luxury family holiday. Arranged over 2 floors with a well furnished downstairs lounge and dining room, 2 king size bedrooms with en suite bathrooms – one upstairs, one downstairs, Guest WC.
