WATER SPORTS

Complimentary water-skiing, sailing (Optimists, Lasers and Hobiecats), wakeboarding, windsurfing, snorkelling, kayaking (singles, doubles and seascope), pedalos and glass bottom boat trips. Free group lessons in windsurfing and sailing.
Tuition is also available for water-skiing. Private lessons available (at extra cost).
Catamaran or Trimaran Cruises, off shore speed boats available to hire at an extra cost.

Big Game Fishing in Mauritius
Big Game Fishing Centre on site with 37ft Boats, available to hire for half or full day trips. The hotel's own fishing fleet, by far the best in Mauritius, gives you the perfect opportunity to make the catch of a lifetime - including magnificent Blue Marlin - especially if you're here in the best season, between November and March.
Competitions are held regularly at Paradis, with anglers gathering from around the world to partake in this sport.
The Paradis fleet also hold several world records for the heaviest Marlin catches, and photos at the Blue Marlin restaurant hold testimony to this fact.

Scuba Diving
On site PADI affiliated dive centre.
Open daily with up to 3 dives per day. 1 night dive per week (on request).
All equipment available to hire, costs per dive vary according to the number of dives taken. PADI lessons and courses available at an extra cost.
A variety of spectacular dives are close by including reef, cave, cliff and wreck dives.

LAND SPORTS

Tennis
6 floodlit tennis courts (4 hard courts and 2 artificial grass), free group lessons.
Individual lessons available on request.

18 holes par 72 Championship Course. Minimal Green fees charged for 9 or 18 holes.
The golf course set on the Le Morne peninsula is set amidst a spectacular landscape stretching between nearly 5 miles of fine sandy beaches and an awesome mountain backdrop. Featuring many water and sea hazards, strategically placed bunkers and wildly differing fairways, this 6,300-yard course is designed to provide a unique challenge to golfers of all handicaps and is rated as one of the most exciting courses in the Indian Ocean. The 480-yard, stroke index 2, par 5, 16th hole is a sure test for the brave.
It is advisable to bring golf balls with you as they can be pricey in Mauritius.
Golf etiquette and dress code required. Reserve tee times available 48 hours in advance.

Individual tuition available at an extra cost.
Driving range with practice balls.

Five Day Golf Package

This includes unlimited golf for 5 days, golf buggy hire for 5 days, unlimited practice balls, 2 complimentary golf clinics by the Club Pro, a Clarins golf massage, a Paradis Golf Welcome Pack and club hire if required.
A five day Couples Golf Package includes all of this for two but at a remarkably good price.
The golf package does not have to be used on consecutive days but may be used throughout your stay.

BOB MARLIN MINICLUB
Open every day and evening from 0900-1630 and 1800-2300.
Free supervised activity programmes for children aged 3-6 yrs and 7-12 yrs.
Babysitters for extra childcare, or children under 3, can also be booked 24 hrs in advance. Payment is required for babysitters at the resort (approx. £2 per hour), and depending on the time they leave, payment for their transport home may also be required.
The Miniclub is located in a thatched cottage with an outdoor play area, plenty of indoor activities, library, TV Video and CD.
Free tennis and golf coaching is available plus organised outdoor games, sports and competitions.
