Le Touessrok Mauritius - Givenchy Spa, Golf & Sports

The Givenchy Spa, Matt Roberts Gymnasium and Hairdressing Salon adopt a contemporary, holistic approach combining complete treatments with a personalised sports programme and nutritional menu, as well as beauty and hair tips. The Spa opens daily from 8.30am to 8.30pm.

Situated next to the superb heated lap pool on the exclusive Frangipani Island are the nine spacious treatment rooms including the 'Bride's Room', which is next to the Hair Salon so as to provide a full range of beauty therapy.

Original treatments include the Canyon Love Stone Therapy and Ylang-Ylang massage with four hands. Body treatments, facials, massages, body wraps and sauna are available. Also part of the Givenchy Spa, the Hair Salon offers state-of-the-art technical support with hair aesthetics (10am to 8pm).

Matt Roberts Personal Training
The gymnasium facility is part of the Givenchy Spa, overlooking the lap pool. It provides sophisticated personalised training, stretching sessions, swimming and aquatic exercise programmes, as well as mobilisation programmes for tennis and golf. The use of the state-of-the-art equipment is free of charge, with a fee for personal trainer services. Open daily from 7am to 8pm.

Le Touessrok boasts two splendid pools, one situated at the heart of the hotel and the other one (heated lap pool, 20m long) by the Spa on Frangipani Island.

The boathouse and most of the water sports are based at Ile aux Cerfs, with facilities including canoes, kayaks, laser sailing dinghies, hobie cats, pedal boats, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, unlimited water-skiing and windsurfing, and aqua-gym lessons.
There is a free boat shuttle to and from the hotel every 20 minutes (10 minutes ride).

The wonder of the game - An 18-hole championship golf course of extraordinary concept and immaculate execution has been created on its own island: Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course is across a coral lagoon from the renowned Le Touessrok, and reached by a 'golfing special' water taxi.
Playing at over 7000 yards/6476m, this is the longest course in Mauritius.
-  Bernard Langer has designed the course to challenge advanced players, while remaining exciting and playable for recreational golfers. This has been achieved with four sets of tee decks for each hole, so the angles of attack and approach vary - with a generous provision of fairway where appropriate. The greens are mainly small and undulating, requiring precise approach shots.
- The cool and elegant Clubhouse, overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, welcomes all golfers and their guests. The 68-seat restaurant has panoramic views of the course, the ocean and the distant mountains. It also has a professional golf shop (where everything is 'latest'), top-class changing rooms and showers.
- Golf Academy: The course has its own David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Facilities include five target greens for practice putting/pitching, a private short game area, computer-aided swing analysis and private classroom.
- Guests will also be able to discover the renowned 9-hole, Par 33 Gary Player-designed golf course at the One&Only Le Saint Géran (no green fees, rental of equipment available).

Also available: bocciball, jogging track, volleyball, football and four floodlit tennis courts. The tennis club is affiliated to the Peter Burwash Institute.

Sports - with supplement

Tennis coaching by Peter Burwash professionals, scuba diving (PADI and CMAS approved water course available), personal training at the gymnasium, deep-sea fishing, banana and tube rides, parasailing, horse riding, catamaran sailing cruise, canoeing, tracking\nature trails, deer stalking and cycling (cross country bicycle rides).

Access and free minibus shuttle to 18-hole championship golf course 'The Links' at Belle Mare Plage (Green fees including electric carts: 90 euros per person. Transfer time 20 minutes.
