Restaurants & Bars at the Hotel
Three-Nine-Eight (main restaurant seats 350)
Overlooking the main pool and Trou d'Eau Douce Bay, the main dining room is on three different levels, with cuisines of nine countries presented in a 'culinary theatre' by eight show kitchens. These are:
- A Continental rotisserie and grill corner
- A contemporary Asian corner
- An Italian corner with an antipasti bar
- An extensive salad bar
- A patisserie section and bakery
- A tea and coffee counter
Chinese Section Grill Section Mediterranean Section Three-Nine-Eight is always fascinatingly active, offering a multicultural and contemporary dining experience (7.30am to 10.30am and 7pm to 10pm).
Barlen's (Frangipani Island restaurant & bar seats 120)
With wooden floors, thatched roofs and its contemporary Asian-inspired interior, this unique beach-side restaurant and bar pampers guests with dining on the shoreline overlooking idyllic Trou d'Eau Douce Bay. It serves a holistic Spa breakfast and an extensive continental breakfast between 7.30am and 10.30am with a supplement of 200 Mauritian Rupees per person.
Lunch and dinner revolve around the restaurant's show-kitchen concept, consisting of a floor-to-ceiling, glass encased sushi-sashimi section, a European char-grill counter complemented by a traditional Japanese Robata grill, and a salad and appetiser section - light and tasty food served in a chic, tropical and modern ambience. Dinner from 7.30 to 10pm.
Barlen's Bar Barlen's Restaurant The bar offers a selection of herb-infused tonics and elixirs for the health-conscious whilst also catering for the more 'spirited' hedonist. Sun-downers are accompanied by Asian-inspired snacks.
Safran (Indian Restaurant seats 56)
This enchanting and contemporary restaurant is a modern interpretation of classic Indian cuisine applying continental methods of preparation to a range of timeless Indian recipes.The open kitchen's focal point is a duo of tandoori ovens producing a tasty variety of Indian bread, appetisers and main courses. The restaurant opens for dinner only, six days a week (7pm to 10pm).
Sega Bar (seats 60)The Sega Bar offers a splendid view of the main pool and Trou d'Eau Douce Bay. Healthy salads and light sandwiches are amongst the tasty snacks available throughout the afternoon.
The bar's 'spiritual' highlight is a stimulating selection of cool Martinis and cranberry-based cocktails.
Connoisseurs of exceptional whiskies and cognacs will not be disappointed. The bar opens from 9am to 1am.
The atmosphere is relaxed with light entertainment such as jazz bands before and after dinner.Beach Service
Everyday refreshing drinks, snacks and tropical fruits are served on the beach.
An extensive Bento Box menu is also available.
Beach service is from 7am to sunset.
Restaurants & Bars on the Islands
The islands adjacent to Le Touessrok feature unique restaurants, recently redesigned to offer an even larger variety of tropical dishes.
Ile aux Cerfs
Ile aux Cerfs is open to guests everyday from 9am to 5pm with a free taxi boat operating to and from the island. It is also open at night by request for special functions such as Pirate and Tropical Island evenings.
Ile aux CerfsPaul & Virginie (seats 150)
Specialised in grills, seafood, pizzas and a variety of Mauritian dishes, this restaurant is open from midday to 3pm. It also caters for special occasions such as weddings or themed evenings for groups and incentives, accommodating up to 300 guests, with food and beverage facilities, a dance floor and special entertainment.
Sands (Beach Bar seats 60)
A selection of drinks (from 9.30 to 5pm) and snacks served everyday (11.30 to 4.30pm).
Beach Service
Refreshments and snacks are served daily on the beach between 9.60am and 5pm.
Ilot Mangénie
A private, desert island five minutes away from the hotel, Ilot Mangenie is an exclusive hideaway for Le Touessrok guests. Open from 9am to 5pm with free boat service leaving the hotel jetty on a regular basis. Open at night on request for special theme evenings (maximum 60 persons).
Crusoe's Restaurant (seats 96)
Lunch is from 12pm to 3pm offering the Bay's catch of the day, grilled to order, and a healthy salad menu. Robinson's pizza oven remains fired throughout the day for gourmet pizzas and home-made bread. Every Sunday, Robinson's features a lavish brunch eatery with its signature stir-fry kiosk, spit roasted leg of lamb and free-range chicken, a lagoon seafood barbecue, salad bar and dessert counter. A free flow of sparkling wine is included in the brunch package - a not to be missed experience.
Robinson's Bar (seats 50)
Open from 10am to 4pm. Homemade rums are served by Robinson, the cheerful governor of Ilot Mangenie.
Beach Service
Snacks and refreshments are served on the beach from 10am to 4.30pm.
