Relax in luxurious surroundings aboard the world famous Eastern & Oriental Express as you explore the wonders of Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. What better way to see this breathtaking region than from your own sumptuous viewing cabin. Having experienced the bustling city of Bangkok, board the Eastern & Oriental Express for three nights. Weave through stunning landscapes stopping off along the way to visit the River Kwai Bridge and Georgetown, Penang before ending your journey with two nights in Singapore.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly Business Class with Emirates to Bangkok
Day 2: Transfer to the Shangri-La Hotel for a two night stay
Day 3: Day at leisure to explore Bangkok
Day 4: Board the Eastern & Oriental Express and enjoy dinner on board
Day 5: Disembark at the River Kwai Bridge. Take a local boat cruise along this picturesque river, passing under the famous bridge. Rejoin the train for lunch and continue your journey
Day 6: After breakfast, arrive in Butterworth for a guided tour of colonial Georgetown, Penang. Rejoin the train for dinner as you cross the Malaysian countryside
Day 7: Arrive in Singapore late morning. Disembark and transfer to the Shangri-La Hotel for two nights
Day 8: Day at leisure to explore Singapore.
Day 9: Transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK
